help!!

I am going to visit the Mid West in the USA, to be more precise I am planning a road trip from Alliance OH to Mountain Iron, Minnesota. I know it is a strange road trip for an European tourist, but I would like to ask you some tips. I have already schedule some stops in Chicago and Milwaukee, can you suggest any interesting place in Minnesota on the way from Milwaukee to Mountain Iron?
